Enter 32GB iPhone and 3G Exit 8GB iPhone

The 3G iPhone could be available as early as June 2008. The 3G iPhone would have live video-conferencing capabilities, browse much faster than the current EDGE based iPhone, video recording may still not be possible. Apple is also contemplating a 32GB iPhone release during the same time frame (June 2008). Now the question is what will happen to the 8GB model?. 4GB and 8GB Refurbished iPhones used to be available on a regular basis(mostly on Tuesdays, See the Poll results on this blog) but now refurbished deals are rare to find. The 16GB refurb has also not appeared thus far.

Refurbished iphone 16GB, Cost and Availability

Apple recently announced the 16GB "Talk big" model when really it should "Store big".
However what will be interesting for refurbished iphone buffs is when will the refurb iphone be available and what will it cost?
When apple launched iphone on June 29th 2007, the refurbished iphones became available as early as 1st week of August 2007, so we can expect the 16GB refurbished iphone to be available as early as 1st week of April 2008.

Why refurbished iphones are available on Tuesdays?

You decide that the refurbished iphone is a good deal and head straight to the online apple store but to your disappointment the iphone is not available. So when is it available. A close analysis reveals that 7 out of 10 times it was available on a tuesday. So if you are intent on getting hold of a refurbished iphone then visit the online apple store on tuesday.
